I'm reading some posts on here about pthalate restrictions in Cali. I'm seeing a few "enviro" ink lines spinning off of major ink manufacturers.

I've been using QCMs orthopthalate-free QMX match system and their glacier white. When I researched this a few years ago it was the best I could find and Seattle-based. (critical factors for me- I run a made in the U.S., environmentally sound shop)

So is Rutland's new Claira line free of more pthalates than QCM? I'm no chemist and can't exactly get a handle on this issue. I just know that pthalates are no good and European studies show they especially hurt kids.

And this ICC ink- what the hell is it? A water-based without the nasty in it?

Anybody wanna play Mr.Wizard? or maybe Bill Nye....
