just bought a cap press. i got a cheepo from ebay because i will probably not us it very often. i made my own cold peel transfers w union ultrasoft ink and bonding power on the back. i am putting the transfers on cheep otto cap. the foam and mesh kind. here are my issues. 1. when i peel transfer on the outer edges i am having a problem w/ the ink splitting. 2. the press seems to leave a mark on the hat. like it melted it a little. my temp is set @ 400f but my IR Gun says it is like half that. dwell time 15 seconds. i know my serfice temp should be 350 - 400 but it is already melting the hat and when i did crank it up to that and tested on a tee it burnt a hole in it. i need a little advice from a vet here, thanks J | ||
