That is correct about the nylon additive.
With nylon jersies, you should only be concerened with vinyls.

I do use adhesive powder and cold peel, with Transfert 75 paper, like mentioned in this article, however, I have not used plastisol transfers on nylon jerseys. I have used transfers on cotton and poly T's and solid jerseys, and I have directly printed plastisol on Nylon mesh, with vinyl numbers.
I do not know how the open areas of mesh will act with your transfers, but make sure to have a sheet of transfer paper or teflon under the print.
