I will eventually want to be able to sell shirts online, but for the time being I just want to put up a page (or two), that shows what I have (no online sales right now). I am a windows application programmer by trade and do not know much about web site design, but am not afraid to dig in. My shirts have text both on the front and back (images possible in the future). Looking at what is out there I see sites with models wearing the shirts, sites with images of the shirts laid out on a flat background, square pictures of just the text and\or images, and some sites that obviously used a form under the shirt. The form shirts look the best to me and I have found sites on line when I can purchase those forms fairly inexpensively (how do they eliminate the form neck that would stick out of the top of the shirt?). I would appreciate input on which way to go. What size of megapixels I should use , etc? Is there any kind of documentation that deals with running an online type of business, (handling bad checks, etc, accounting, getting hits, etc)? Are there any basic types of templates out there that I can use for what I initially want to do (I will not need any fancy graphics and the like)? Possibly give the viewer the ability to email me. If I want to program it myself, should I consider any one software tool because it is easier, can do more, (HTML, C#, ASP.net, etc, etc.)? Thanks in advance for any direction or assistance | ||
