Inbound links are indeed a great tool to get your websites ranking up. However note that a link is only considered a "good" link if the site that has it is a business that related to your industry. The search engines have been able to weed out what are called "link farms" where companies offer better ranking by using these now blacklisted systems. If your looking for a Free industry related link I have a Screen Printers Business Directory on my site that you can link your site too. The system is much like Yellow Pages online, but only for peolpe in the industry of garment decorations. It offers a mini web page that can have all your contact information, a Google map link built in and it even is part of my SEO system so you can even add your own meta-data to get better ranks. Again its Free for the basic listing, and my site gets seriously high traffic from search engines so your site will be inluded as an outbound link. Note that I review every listing, and I may ask that some people edit the content due to poor formating or lack of any details.
