Trying to keep it simple yet have control over the website layout so it can evolve. Until recently, I had a GoDaddy basic package but the drag-n-drop seemed clunky, without flexibility. The Joomla option looks intriguing. It appears to give the end user much content control over product presentation and the ability to have multiple categories with many item images. Also, just using Paypal over a typical shopping cart seems to require quite a lot less maintenance, even if it cost a tiny bit more? I’ve spent some time looking at Lance’s Calibrated website (nice tutorials). Do you start up with a webhost in order to begin building the structure? Or can you build it “offline”? Basic questions, I know. Lance, would love to hear you weigh-in as you look to have a good product and, by your posts, explain "Techie" well. Thanks all! | ||
