Hello SWF owners. We currently run 28 embroidery heads, they are not SWF. We will be adding a new 6 head machine to our shop this fall. The primary use of this machine will be to run hats and jacket backs. For that reason we are looking at the 6 head stretch model that will give us the wide needle spacing we need for large field jacket backs. The current machine I use for hats will not sew 6 panel caps very well and we also run a fair amount of 3D puff foam. I would appreciate comments from anyone using a SWF for this purpose. Do you have any issues penetrating six panel caps. Excessive thread breaks or skipped stitches? I also sell a lot of Carhartt duck jackets and need to know if anyone has comments about running 6 of these at a time. Are the arms strong enough? Can you sew through the double seams that some of these jackets have? Do you ever get overheating of the stepper motors moving this much weight around. Please no Flaming, this is an honest fact finding mission for our purchase. private e-mail at alan@actionscreen.com if prefered. Thanks, Alan | ||
