the one i have i was told is famous for a major flaw (Brown denies this....) for over loading one of the wires in the heat panel runway . back in the day when Brown was Harco they addressed the issue and sent out a band-aid boo boo fix kit (at a price ofcourse) brown denies this as well ... well im replacing that damn wire from every 3 months to every 4 weeks seems like . if anyone has ever worked on a harco dryer you know how much of a pain it is taking it apart and the sheet metal screws start to slip and not tighten uuggggg . well after dealing with this pile for 2 years ( i bought it used , owner said runs like a champ haha jokes on me) ... and after alot of swear words , kicks , elbows and middle fingers im about send this thing to the scrap yard for good .... i say this alot untill i start looking at prices for a new one .... anyone else run into this problem is there anyway i can re wire this so the wire isnt getting so hot? the wire as even blasted a ultra high temp ceramic terminal , shattered it! right now its making a toxic smelting smell and making me dizzy.
