| I recently purchased the Brown manual 6 head screen print press. They use a stainless steel post on the frame that is about 1" wide and when you lower the head, the 2 rollers fit tightly on both sides of the steel post to keep the screen in place. This work fine, however, their off contact adjustment is a 6" threaded bolt that is supposed to sit directly on the ground off (flat spot) on the stainless post. This post is also tapered like the head of a pencil after sharpening. The problem is that the off contact threaded bolt does not sit directly on top of the stainless steel post and slides down the tapered edge when lowered thus throwing off the registration. This is definetly an engineering problem, however, the Brown Mfg. folks say they have no fix for the problem. This makes virtually every multicolor job impossible to register. Anyone else have this problem or did I get the opnly lemon of the bunch? | ||
