You are correct we see this in our embroidery business and it is touchy but not impossible. We simply tell our customers that there are two situations when we ruin something, either we say we are sorry and call it tough darts or we cough up some cash to replace the ruined item. Both of these are bad for business so we simply do not take the job at any price. The two classics are leather goods come in looking for $20.00 of embroidery and we decline the business. Likewise we get items with high sentimental value these we really will not touch as there is no replacing them.
