If it was the headphones or just not paying attention, or just not caring, FIRE him. We don't have many customers come to the plant (we have another location). The music is loud! My building, my radios, my business, My Music, (I can't stand rap) My guys have cell phones. They use them respectfully. One day one of them was carrying boxes, and on the phone. Could have done it quicker if he was off the phone. I asked to look at his phone, dropped it, said oops, you could have dropped my stuff, stay off the phone when you are working!! What is fair is fair. I had a printer who didn't pay attention, always ruining shirts, printing registration marks, you name it. HAD a printer that did this! He's still looking for work, we have had NO problems with mis prints. It's your business, take care of business! | |
