This employee we have doesn't seem to have his full interest/focus in what he is doing. (Printer) He is always on his blackberry headphones/phone ear thing (bluetooth). It also has a MP3 Player. I think this is part of the problem, and it has nicely been mentioned to him. We all listen to radios while we work and answer our cell phones when we have a call. Everyone is respectful and doesn't stop the machine to get it either. When we do get a call, we get to the point without chit-chatting all day. (Again, I think it is reasonable if you respectively get back to work ASAP.) Back to the point... He makes little mistakes all day long. I understand the occasional "didn't read the fine print", but it is to often. I really hate it when I am very busy and tell him something, and have to say it twice because I forgot to wait for him to take the headphones off. Their has been major damage to the automatic press caused by him. He was using the headphones at the time. One pallet arm is bent downward because he had something on it when the press moved to the up position. (pending future post for m&r) I can no longer print halftone images on that machine, because I have to adjust on the 10th pallet every time, because their is to much lift off on that one station. What to do? Any input or suggestions? Comments? | |
