  1. If you run a T-shirt down the dryer without ink on it, you will often see those same sort of fumes, coming from the shirt.
2. Read the MSDS supplied with your inks to see if there are any hazardous components in it. By law the manufacture must list any hazardous or suspected cancer producing ingredients and they ain’t gonna risk jail by lying about it.
3. In any event, always make sure you have a strong exhaust piping from your dryer hood to outdoors. And if you are curing with a flash dryer, set up an exhaust fan in the wall at floor level. You don’t want it up high so you would be pulling any fumes across your nose.
4. To my knowledge, no T-shirt inks like plastisols or water-based inks use anything like benzene or any other cancer suspect ingredients.
