I've heard the same things about t-shirt fumes. I've heard that the chemicals garment companies coat their garments with when they're new contain formaldehyde and a few other nasty chemicals and I've heard some people think they may cause cancer.

What really got me started on this was that there are lawyers in my area airing commercials on tv about some chemical called benzene that supposedly causes cancer. They listed occupations that may be exposed to it, and printing was on list, so it made my ears perk up.

I think they're talking about newspaper and magazine printing, but it still got me thinking about what garment screen printers are exposed to. Does anybody here have a thorough knowledge about this sort of thing?
