  Not sure what you are trying to do? If the file is a Corel file, than save it as a CDR. I only use the export function when I want to save it as a jpg. I am not sure here, but when you export, you maybe using the wrong eps file extension to save it with, it seems there are two different eps file extensions and one will save it as a jpg, I think that is correct. SO, just use the save as function and save it as a CDR file.
