Aloha Craig, Ron did respond to me directly about my earlier post. In fact Ron sold me my machine 4 or so years ago and he calls out of the blue to hear how things are going. I drop in at the Tas booth at the ISS Long Beach show every year and we talk work, equipment, dogs whatever. Don't judge Tas by there presence here on this site (I've been tring to push 'em here for years). I choose Tas for the fact that I live on a island 2500 miles away from tech support, physical tech that is. They are just a phone call away and I've had no problem getting through and getting answers with a phone call. The fact is I really haven't had to relay on tech support for anything major because I haven't had any major problems. I call to order clamps and hoses mostly, things that will wearout on any press you buy. Craig, take another look at Tas and talk to some owners of their presses ... this isn't their site ...
