Since inkman is so smart, or wait, jumping to conclusions, I'll send you the test positives and you can honestly look at them and then tell me I'm bashing. I'm stating that one product is obviously better than the other one. The only parameter that changed in the test was the rip program. We tried four different types of WP with acceptable results on two, the most expensive. We were running out of things to troubleshoot and finally got to the rip and sure enough, that was the problem. Our artist did the test earlier today and posted the results. I, the printer, also posted on another problem I had with film positives. Inkman, I hate to say, is wrong with his observation. I've been told by numerous support staff that everything should be working fine, and I was of the impression that the problem was us, not the equipment. Now that we know what the issue was, I am telling others on a public discussion forum how we fixed our problem. If this is of no help to you, sorry, move on to the next post.

Inkman, give me your address by PM and I'll send you the two positives and you can see for yourself. I'll even let you keep them to show your friends and ya'll can have a laugh at my expense. If you look at the positives and come to a different conclusion than what is plainly clear then you are dillusional.

Ink brought up a good point that I wish I had an answer to but don't know why our setup didn't work as well as others with the same equipment. The important thing is that we have solved our only problem and I feel much better. Sorry to ruffle feathers but I've written nothing that isn't backed up with proof.
