| Ive had so much better luck with my r1800 vs my 3000. I hesitated on the cost of the waterproof film but it is really worth the extra $$. My issues with the r1800 are very frequent head cleaning. After cleaning so much youll get an error message that the parts in the printer are beyond their expected life span. Search the net and there is software that will reset the counter.PC Only. Its actually a little internal counter that says the waste pad is full. It really isnt because its a calculated measure based upon you using all the ink cartridges, but you're only using black. Ive found that after about 1-2 years you just need a new printer. Im there now. Some deals out there and epsons giving $100 rebate prior to Dec 31 2007. Amazon about $375 delivered. Small price to pay for excellent results based on 2 years service. Go fastrip and go waterproof. No need to be an artist in the wash out booth. | ||
