Since I've already got a pack of FastPOS from years ago, and I know of a few places selling old copies of FastRIP, I'm thinking of going the cheap route and buying a used copy of FastRIP, an Epson R1800 and some FastINK. One copy has been registered, the other copy has never been used. What I'm wondering is: -Will the old software be compatible with the new printer? -How much money should I offer? -What is the cost of transferring registration? -Will USSPI give me a hard time and not provide technical support or upgrades because I bought the software used?
