I 2nd the claims about triloc. When they bought our press, they didn't buy triloc, they thought it was a frill or luxury and they were trying to keep the price down. Who knows how many hours they wasted setting up jobs. Finally at a show a guy at M&R demonstrated it, and the shop came home with triloc that day. Most jobs are just real close, but some of them are perfect too. At least they aren't 1" off each x 5 screens. In about 4 years we have spent more than $100 in parts for one press. Regardless, that part has been very reasonable. I have found their phone tech support to be hit and miss. Some folks are awesome a really know their stuff. Others, well, I'm not sure how the heck they got the job. We had a tech come down from Chicago to give a good once over to our flash unit and fix an overheat problem. I was tired of looking at it and I wanted to have a better set of eyes sign off on it. I was starting to think there could be more than one problem with it after having replaced a known bad relay. When he left the fans still didn't work (overheat in 5 minutes) and the IR thermocouple was still defective. I fixed the fans by locating a bad fuse of all things. As for the thermocouple... we plan to replace that as soon as we can afford it. | ||
