Ryan, Safety cables have to be working and plugged in. The programmer is underneath the middle of the indexer and has a series of switches and split cams. These switches are very delicate and need to be adjusted to work in harmony with each other. One of these switches tells the indexer where to stop. One of tells the heads(that are turned on) when to start. One of them trigger a resistor that slow the indexer down-just prior to it finishing its index so the fork does not come up fast and BANG. Another stops the indexer. All switches work together. Once you uinderstand what they do, you can adjust them. Does this press have the Allen-Bradley programmer in the control box? Does it have a Touch Screen or a series of toggle switches? I have this machine from 1990. I can walk you thru some stuff. Answer the above questions and I'll help you get started. | ||
