Put simply, if a dryer is not level...it twists the frame. It can cause the roller at each end to run out of parallel to each other....like say the left end of one roller tilting toward the floor and the left end of the other tilting up. It makes the belt track at a diagonal. That being said, since dryers are sheet metal affairs, putting a level on the dryer body will not tell you anything. With the belt off the roller, you put the level on the roler at each end. Use the leveling feet to make sure the bubble is centered when the level is running long ways (side to side) on each roller. Its one of the most common mistakes and usually comes from a very un-even floor. The weight of the dryer twists itself to fit the floor pulling the rollers out of plane.
