Are you seeing the clear blockages in the mesh AFTER you coat/dry/expose/develop the next design? If so then you are underexposing your emulsion and it's residue is clogging your design. If you are seeing the blockages just after the cleaning process and before you recoat with new emulsion then you are not cleaning properly. If you see the blockages appear during printing then your emulsion is breaking down on press and you either did not expose it completely and or you are using a chemical on press that is breaking down the emulsion. I use Franmars On-Press Color Change as was recommended by a previous poster and my stencils last though dozens of cleanings as I library my designs and print different colors through the same stencil. I also use greenway when I clean the ink off just before stencil removal and then I use Srip E Doo and then De Haze if necessary and then depending on how water run off looks I might use DeGrease too, final rinse. Then I blot dry with paper towel, dry completely with forced air dryer then recoat. ____________________ Riley Hopkins 8/4 WorkHorse Point 1K Exposure Unit WorkHorse Primus 18x20 Flash WorkHorse Compact Conveyer Dryer Dual 500 Mac G4, 1.5GB RAM, OS X 10.3.9, 1TB storage | |
