I've got CD 11, but have to save my .eps files as an Illy eps v8 in order to import it correctly. I think my "economic stimulus" rebate is going to buy me an updated copy of Corel. I'm about finished with the rework of the design... Luckily it's a simple layout - just a PITA to re-do to get it in a format I can make my film positives from. I wound up separating the individual parts, doing a screen-shot, and using InkScape for converting my screenshots to vector. I'd have been done several hours ago, but my oldest daughter (12) decided to fall off a friend's skateboard this evening... So, to the E.R. we went. Luckily only a minor sprain with a bruised bone & swollen soft tissue in the hand. Another 15 minutes, and I'll be done with this layout. I'll go ahead and try your suggestion, though - and see if it allows me true access to the path layouts on top of the RGB image boxes that Photoshop created. (Geez, should I have simply run it through FastFilms, as a spot-color seperation? I'm thinking so...) Thanks for the input! Rex S. | |
