I hate when Corel and Illy don't play nice with each other. <sigh> One thing that sometimes saves my butt, Rex. If you can open the file in Illy, do that first. Then when you go to save a .ai copy, make very sure that you uncheck the compression box. That will, alot of times, eliminate those bazillion separate objects that you'll get with gradients. I just converted that VBS Outrigger logo for someone. Opening in Corel gave us over 9,000 objects.OMG. Saving it the way I described above, resulted in 289, more reasonable vector objects. Gradients intact. What version of Draw are you using? Do you have to save all the way back to ver.8? | |
