I just read, on the Corel Users Group forum that the Memory Usage option has been dead, ie. disabled since ver. 12. This is the quote, directly from Tony at Corel: In earlier versions of Windows you could force an application to ask windows to set aside a block of memory for use at a later time. Since we stopped supporting Windows '98 back in V12 we should of removed that stuff from options as the newer versions of windows will dynamically allocate memory to the application if it is required. And from Foster: The memory setting mentioned does absolutely nothing. No, it isn't broken, it just doesn't do anything. The developers just haven't removed the dialog box. Hmmm. Like I said, interesting, huh? | |
