Just be aware that upping allocated ( reserved ) memory for one application will detract from others, which already have a set, reserved amount, well, not all, but many do. This can result in increased page-file ( virtual RAM space on hard-drive ) usage. Your computer will always be fastest if (almost) everything you're doing resides within physical RAM. You have what for RAM now, 4 gigs? Vista is a pig...XP is as well, but not as bad. ____________________ | |
