We pretty much use Corel Draw exclusively. In fact the only time we use Illustrator is to open customer supplied artwork that was sent to us in Illustrator version 9 or 10. We backsave it to version 8 and import it into Draw. Recently we have been recieving more and more artwork as well as downloading clipart from iclipart.com that has been created in a newer version of Illustrator than what we have. We are unable to open these files in ver 10. I need to get newer version of Illustrator. I also have to be able to load it onto my computer at home and the one at work. If I understand correctly, [and I am not sure that I do] CS3 can only be loaded onto 1 Computer at a time. If you do load it onto a second, you have to disabled it on the first. Is this a legal issue or is it an operating issue? My question. What do I do? I don't want to spend any more $$ than I have to since we only use the program to open certain files, backsave them and import them into Draw. Am I right about only 1 computer at a time? I don't really know shyt about this stuff. Hopefully someone more knowledgable can shed some light on the best course of action...Yes, we are PC based, operating system XP. Thank you.......
