Try going to control panel, system properties. From there click on the advanced tab and then under the performance section click on the settings button. Then go to the advanced tab and change the virtual memory to more than the default setting. This will all more memory to be allocated on your hard drive if the physical ram gets full. This is assuming you are using XP. Also make sure that all other things are turned off when importing a file of that size. Check your system tray also and make sure that it is not full of crappy programs running. I hope this helps a little. Take care.
