OK, tghought I was on to something. I'm a newbie that has been doing spot color printing for a year now. I want to do simple half-tones. I don't have FastRIP, RIP or PostScript. I found today that I can create a gradient in PS, convert to greyscale, convert to bitmap w/Lpi... and I can get my InkJet to print those %$@$&ing DOTS. All is well... I can load the eps file into Illustrator, create text above it, use the clipping mask, and... I got myself some half-tone text. BUT, if I distort the text, or even convert to outlines, the clipping mask fails to perform. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here? Doogie | ||
