| I think what you're getting is this. When there is a lot of area that's dark on the positive the film tends to shrink more. The keyline has a lot less toner than the fill sections and it doesn't shrink so much, so the reg is off. What I have done when printing out the seps out of photoshop is to change the image size on the sep that doesn't fit to like 99.8% or something then it'll line up. You can do it in the print with preview but only x and y at the same time, if its off in just one dimension you have to go back to the image size and temporarily resize it then just don't save the changes. It's not perfect but you can get close. Make sure that you're printing in the middle of the film or vellum too. | ||
