OK... I found some decent film, now I'm trying to set up Gutenprint (was Ghost script) on two Macs. I've installed the newest Beta version on one Mac with OS 10.4.11, the other has 10.2.8. I have an Epson 1520. I can get it to print as if it is a regular Epson printer, but I can't get it to print halftones using postcript from Illustrator. Oddly enough, on OS 10.2 it lets me actually choose a PPD file and set up the halftones and all, but then when I bring up Print Center it tells me there is an error. Even stranger, on the newer system it doesn't even give me an option to select PPD or seperations. Nothing! Any ideas? Kathy | ||
