Ok, so I have been using Epsons PS RIP 2.0 for a long time with my Epson 2200 to print on waterproof Graphic Micro Clear Film. When Mac OS came out with the new OS, I looked up on Epsons site, and they said that this RIP software would be compatible with all Mac OS platforms current and future. So I took the plunge and upgraded in order to take advantage of some other features I needed. As soon as I did that, I can no longer even launch the Epson software. It says something like System Failure or something like that. I've contacted Epson multiple times and have gotten spotty answers that weren't very helpful. SO...HERE is my big question. If I don't want to just trash my epson 2200, and I want to continue printing film from it, what PS RIP software is available for Mac OS X for a reasonable price? I tried a free trial of AccuRip, and it looked great, but I was having some problems getting it to actually put ink on my film. It looked as if it would work, but I think I must have had something wrong. Anyway, I WOULD LOVE to get any input and or advice about what I could do without changing out my whole film output system.
