| I think we all have our personal favorites. I myself prefer polyester threads, specifically Isacord. I know you can get both thicker and thinner threads, just talk to your distributor. If they can't help, go to the manufacturer. Remember that you may have to change needle sizes, and likely you will need to digitize to compensate for the thicker/thinner thread. I have played with both in my shop and in all honesty, I prefer to keep everything as standard as possible. I do run 6, 8, and 18 head machines, so I don't want to have to mess with keeping track of what thread is on what machine and is the right needle in it, etc. But, to each his/her own. I'd start by talking to your manufacturer and digitizer to make sure it's worth your effort. | ||
