I did. Been running that way for years. Always laugh now when I see people selling them on ebay for $400 bucks! haha. The trick was the cable. A floppy cable from a computer has a twist in it I believe and I straightened it so it was a direct connect. Been a while since I did it, but I think that was the ticket. Ohh.. On you have to have an old school floppy to boot it with. No dual sided. The ancient 720 disk and you need to format it as such. I had to find an old laptop to format it as a 720 and copy the files onto it. Not the easiest, but worth saving $400! If I get some extra time, I might post a "How to" on my website with pictures.
