| I wasnt speaking about you, but I know what you mean. It was very frustrating dealing with them, they were not responding and wouldnt even give me a name to address personally. What they sent me was ridiculous too, the method of installation was crazy, not to mention it really was DOA to begin with. Since then, we have figured out how to make our own floppy drive for the EMC nachines, complete with all the cables and full installation instructions. Very simple to do, not like FCSs version which required soldering, and without a technician you probably couldnt do it. This is plug and play! You open the back and plug in the cable. You dont need a network card, just run everything off the floppy. It took awhile to round up the materials and figure out how it was made, but with a few modifications Im happy to say it works great for me and Ive converted two 4 head machines already, and when I receive my third, a one head that is being shipped today, it will soon have its own floppy drive. I will probably sell the network cable and network card that I bought and run them all separately on the floppy drives. Its so much easier and cheaper this way! | ||
