I am not talking robbing the rich and giving to the poor here allthough for some reason in our country the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The middle class is disappearing and joing the ranks of the poor. I am always amazed there are people who believe that you are poor because you are lazy. I think the vast majority of people given a chance would gladly work at a decent job rather than depend on hand outs. The trouble is we would rather poor billions into stuff holes like Iraq than spend anything on our future and our future lies in our educational systems. "Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime." Decent jobs become available to all only when eductational opportunities are distrabuted evenly through out the masses. Take a good look at inner city schools today. Tell me what you see and I will tell you about our future. | |
