  No you don't need to use a degreaser to unlock the stencil before placing the screen into the dip tank.

All you need to do is card the ink out of your screen, place the screen into the dip tank (with easistrip mixed 1:2 with water) with the ink and emulsion on it, let it soak a couple of minutes until everything loosens up then high pressure rinse both sides of the screen from the print side first. If you have residual ink in the image area apply EasiSolv 701 or 901 stain remover/degreaser, scrub, high pressure rinse, flood rinse and your screens will be degreased and ready to coat.
