Further to that, if you need to use degreaser to "unlock" the stencil before the emulsion/stencil remover works. Likely you're under exposing your screens, and then chemical hardening them through use. I don't have a dip tank, but the same principle will apply. I'd be cleaning my screens thoroughly of ink, then wiping excess moisture/liquid from the screen before using stencil remover, or a dip tank. The chemical hardening really only gets to be a problem when the stencil has been sitting dry for a period of time. I had headaches with this years ago before I accidently worked it out. ____________________ If it aint broke.....fix it till it is! | |
