The One Step Clear does have a shelf life. It is produced on a just-in-time basis; usually warehoused for only 2 - 3 weeks. Once in your shop the solution should last you, on average, 6 months or 600 screens, whichever comes first. Its mix date is stamped on the lid: example: 07212 - 07 the year, 212 is the day of the year.

There are factors that may affect these averages. . .keeping solution in direct sunlight, extreme heat, the use of aerosols or ink degraders that might mix with the solution, or water with a high mineral/iron content (mix with deionized if this is the case)- you can call your water dept. to find this information.
