I am not familiar enough about Franmar to give you good advice about their products but I understand waterbase clean up. Water will clean waterbase ink but it is also the reason for your staining. Let try using the products you have on hand, after carding out your screen after printing brush in a strong ink degradent type product into open image area breakdown the ink components. High-pressure rinse from bottom to top, keeping the nozzle about 3-4 inches from open image area then rinse screen well to remove any blockout. Apply the emulsion remover then brush if necessary, high-pressure to remove emulsion then used your haze remover. Give it a couple minutes as directed and power rinse screen from bottom to top of the screen. I recommend our customers using waterbase to use our ICC 877 Ink Degradent for that first step or ICC 858 Stain/Remover paste to smear into open image area after printing. If you have to use a chemical during the print run use a 2% ammonia water solution for color changes or some printers use Windex. Make sure your using a WR emulsion. | |
