I use the FranMar dip tank, as well as the one-step-clear. LEt me say this.. when the system was sold to me I was told -UP FRONT that the one-step clear does NOT remove the ink.. It only softens it up so that it's easy to pressure-wash out. (so why do they call it "One Step"?) I personally use bean-e-doo, and rinse with a pressure washer to remove the ink from the screens before putting them in the tank. This initial cleaning step prevents me from having to de-haze the screens as often. I can clean about 40 screens in under 1-1/2 hours - From removing tape from the screens, scraping off excess ink, bean-e-doo process, rinse with water to remove the soy-based bean-e-doo, then put into the tank for emulsion removal. With this process, I get about 500-600 screens reclaimed per 36-gallon tank of one-step clear before I have to buy more. G'Luck! Rex S. | |
