Thurst, While nylon mesh is noticably effected by moisture (many folks stretch nylon wet to dry tighter), Polyester is not similary influenced by heat and humidity if within reason. Assuming you're referencing the current environment of your shop, and not an extreme drying cabnet or oven, ambient shop conditions even in summer are not significant enough to be the root cause of your breakage (many drying cabinets run at 100°F). Significant thermal swings can create issues with the TCE of your aluminum frames, and humidity can certainly reek havoc on stencil systems, but not directly on polyester mesh itself. Confirm that your tension is appropriate after stretching, and that you are not over-deflecting during printing or coating. | ||
