I'm using Kiwo Azocol Poly-Plus S-RX emulsion and water-based inks, and I've had a couple of problems... - Sometimes when I print longer runs the ink starts coming through the emulsion, so that I get shadows of color where it's not supposed to be! The screens are exposed correctly and seems fine, but after some time of printing it's like the ink "sweats" through the emulsion. Why is this happening and how could I prevent it? - What could be the reason that the emulsion won't be reclaimed from the screen? I had a box of emulsion that had worked normally until suddenly it just "stuck" to the screens. Exposure, wash-out and printing worked normally, but reclaiming was almost impossible. I had to use stronger chemicals and high pressure water to get the emulsion off (which I don't normally use). I tried the same emulsion on another screen, and the same thing happened. When i used a new box of emulsion everything worked fine. Could the reason be that the emulsion was too old (about four-five months)? Or what?? The screens had not been over-exposed and was reclaimed almost directly after printing. - I would also like to hear some opinions about whether the screens should be washed out from the inside, outside, or both after exposure? I've heard many different views about this, but I have'nt really noticed that much difference in print quality myself... Very thankful for answers to any of these problems..!! | ||
