OK, I have tried this exposure calculator several times and I am very unhappy with the results. This is my last attempt at getting help before I throw in the shirt! I am using 158 mesh screen, and Photocure TXR, it is hot pink. I am coating with no UV light. I have been told by several sources that I should be able to burn a screen in 40 seconds. Sooooo, I used the calculator and started at 1 minute 20 seconds (80 seconds: 40 secs x 2= 80) When I washed it out, (prior to chucking it across the shop)the dark filter side came all the way out, the light filter side wouldn't wash out, and nothing in the middle looked good either. I am so frustrated I am rethinking this post-retirement career choice. I am not a stupid person. Why won't this work? Dave Dennings and I can't seem to touch bases due to east coast, west coast time differences and I need to get some screens burned and stop wasting time and emulsion. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ____________________ Life is so valuable... don't get caught up in the thick of thin things! | ||
