It was very nice speaking with you today. The emulsion you are using is Photocure TXR and is a photopolymer emulsion. These emulsions are very sensitive to light and if you say there is sky lights in you coating room, then there can be a problem. Solution, coat your screens in a true dark room with no UV lights or switch to a dual cure emulsion which is more forgiving to this enviorment. The product I recommend is SP-7500. This product is our most forgiving, including fish eyes and pinholes.
The exposure calculator works, as my buddy Dave Dennings recommended "expose your screens 2X what you think your exposure should be". If you do not know, using your type of exposure unit(UV flouresent), then I would recommend the following:
1. Diazo or Dualcure - 12 minutes.
2. Photopolymer - 8 minutes.

The reason I would like to start with this time is because I would like to make sure your emulsion is exposed to its fullest. In this example, our target is 6 minutes for the dualcure and 4 minutes for the photopolmer to be our apprx. exposure times. But, only the exposure calculator will verify this recommendation. Just remember, if the image is difficult to washout, it is over exposed. If the image is gummy or slimey, then it is under exposed.
