Mike, You can protect an emulsion with a hardener (like Ulano Hardener X), which you brush on both sides of an exposed stencil, then let dry overnight, but I would like you to start with an emulsion designed to resist water based inks like Ulano 925WR. Working for Reebok, I assume you are printing textile inks and 925WR has been an industry leader for more than 20 years. If you need faster exposure, there is a clear version. If you need more resistance for harsh inks or long runs, (perhaps for water based graphic inks), I suggest Ulano LX-836 which is a dual-cure emulsion designed for the ceramic and glass industry, but will work very well for textile printing. It is both solvent and water resistant. For discharge inks, Ulano is developing a new version of our best selling QTX - specificly for dischage. The emulsion is NOT available to the public at this time. If you need a stencil to resist discharge ink, I would be happy to discuss your problems as part of the experimential process for QTX Discharge.
