| I have been using Chromaline's Acublack with my Epson 3000 for over 5 years. I have always been happy with the results. Nice dense crisp positives. 2 weeks ago I got a "bad" batch which was giving very poor results. It was as if the ink was not being absorbed as well as it should which left me with streaky films. I thought it was my print head so I ran a head cleaning and printed again with the same results. I then ran a piece of the previous batch film and could see it was most defiantly the new batch of film. So I contacted Chromaline and have been speaking with Mick in customer relations. He has sent me another batch which is better but still not close to the opacity of the film I have been getting from them in the past. Why the reformulation? I am dissatisfied with it and my screen department is starting to gripe about it and I do not want to have to readjust our exposure times to compensate for the lack of opacity! This will only result in pinholes and down time on the presses. HELP! | |
