There is no reason not to use the 1.44 disk as we used to take the old 720KB disk a drill a hole and turn them into 1.44 disk. Just tape over the square hole (I use a good clear package tape.) and not the write protect hole. To format them in XP you must bring up a DOS window and use the following format command: format a: /T:80 /N:9 This will format the disk to a 720KB floppy. Hope this helps. Kim Markle | ||
