Richard: Unfortunately there isn’t as much information out there on the Wilflex Oasis Discharge inks as printers or Wilflex Distributors would ideally like to see. I have emailed you a copy of the Wilflex Product Information Sheet / Tech Data Sheet from the Wilflex Distributor Extranet site that does confirm a couple of your questions. A) Add discharge activator to a maximum of 6.0% by weight (Not Volume). B) Add pigment concentrates to a maximum of 8.0% by weight (Not Volume) Yes it is possible to put too much activator or pigment concentrate into the ink system and negatively impact performance. Not only that, but the NF the activator and the pigments are more expensive items so you wouldn’t want to use more than was needed. I hope that this information helps you out some.
